On June 3, 54 members gathered in the northeast district to participate in a tree-planting ceremony held by "Mori wa Umi no Koibito, (Forests are longing for the sea)", whose chairperson is Mr. Shigeatsu Hatakeyama, one of precious companions forπ-water technology.

Each planted one young plant in the forest of Iwate prefecture with wishes for the fertile sea and the early reconstruction in the northeast district damaged by calamities in 2011.

On other days participants visited beautiful sights in Miyagi and Iwate prefectures including a world heritage. Of course spending time at Akiyu hot spring and a social gathering with members would be something pleasant to look back on.
